Author’s note: Ever since I kept on looking back at the first chapter of the writing plus ‘Boy talk in the morning’; I decided to continue on with the second part/ chapter of the ‘The night after New Years Eve’ ever since I kept on reading the first part/ chapter which I have the link below plus ‘Boy talk in the morning- A University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Men’s volleyball team fan fiction’ link is also below there as well.
And anyway this is the continuation of the first post and earlier the post I did is actually the third chapter(?) of the work.
Plus this is sleepover night ever since I decided to do something old school for this one.

Anyway the party is amazing. Everybody is having a great time for real; I get the clean and empty glasses while pouring the drinks from the pitcher whilst those who are drinking soft drinks/ soda beverages can either drink it directly from the cold condensing can or can get a paper straw we bought from Target from a lower kitchen drawer.
After Kupono sets up the gaming console; Stijn calls to Austin “Hey do we have to start all over with a new data or use the same character on the data?”
“No, I’d think it is best to use the same character on the data unless you want to start all over again.”
“Oh okay, of course; man. ‘Cause I can’t wait to see you at Ciceros Straits; dude.”
“Shut up!” Yells Austin from the shower; sounding annoyed with the idea of going to Ciceros Straits.
The guys laughed even harder at Austin and he started protesting “I am serious here; you guys!”
Even much more harder laugh all around the atmosphere and for us girls; we decided to go to the guest bedroom and chat more about how girls can be great role models; empowering other ladies to encourage yet to support each other as well as learning how we can solve out any differences, conflicts additionally disagreements by discussing it privately. [Privately as it means away from other people; away from the cameras and everything else.]
When we heard the commotions from the guys about going to Ciceros Straits in the game; I asked “Whoa; what is going on?”
“I don’t know but those boys can be drama queens sometimes.” Replied a frowning Gabi who is Austin’s older sister.
People may normally think girls are the biggest drama queens here but guys can cause dramas and start a fight as well.
“Yeah, remind me again to get a real gentleman who can treat me like an actual queen instead of a guy who still acts like a drama queen or a problem child for sure!” Adds Dorla shaking her head.
We all laughed so hard that Rosey can hear our laughter from the living room while they are playing the game.
He called to us “Girls; you know we can hear you from there.”
“Sorry,” we chorused to the boys.
“Anyway let’s close the door and subject change; ladies. So let’s try moving onto a new topic; what should we talk about?” Announce Dorla.
“Well . . . We could talk about how we can learn something from girls who can surf like Carissa Moore; Bethany Hamilton, Stephanie Gilmore . . .” pipes up Ava ever the sporty member of the group plus she is an avid surfer, a devotee basketball player and the one who does admires as well as a true fan of female athletes such as Layne Beachley, Lisa Anderson; Allison Felix and so much more.
“I agree, this is a great idea and by the way do you want the night at my place? Then the next day we can have a girls day out.” Announce Michelle who wanted to plan spending the night at her new home.
“Sounds like a great idea; I’m in.” Replied Ava.
“Me too, I have been to house once and now this is my second time plus may be we can give these girls a tour guide of the new Em Cosmetics office.” Adds Promise.
“Thanks but I got to go back to the hotel because the day after tomorrow, I am flying back to Hawaii and I would love to spend the day with Josh however I’ll meet you girls up somewhere by tomorrow afternoon.” Replied Gabi.
“I’ll definitely go then but do we need to pack our bags?” Adds Dorla.
“Of course, silly; did you pack your bag with the necessary items you need just as when we were younger—we used to have a sleepover over each other house?” Ask Ava.
“Oh yes, of course: I did—sorry; that is silly of me to forget something.”
“I’m in but it looks like I need to do some serious packing.” I add while I pulled out my Rip Curl luggage.
“Sure, we will give you the time.”

“Dude; why are there so many seals at this level?” Ask Jennings who is looking confused while sitting at one end of the couch.
“You know the antarctic is a different level to the arctic level where it does have a polar bear while the antarctic does have penguins and seals as well as whales in the area.” Replied Austin who is continuing to shower in the bathroom.
“Oh okay, no wonder both of them are very different.” Adds Rosey, who is now sitting on the other end of the couch.
“And you know there are a lot of penguins as well.” Adds Larry thoughtfully.
“Dude; why would the African penguins can be found in the Antarctic?” Adds Pat who looks more confused about why they add African penguins in the Antarctic.
“Actually, the African penguins are found in South Africa for your information: Pat plus I have no idea why would they do this but they should have add it to the Gatama Atoll level.” Calls Austin from the bathroom who is now finished with his shower session.
“Or the Zahhab Region for sure.” Adds Rosey while he shrugs with a smile on his face.
The guys laughed, then Stijn clicked on a Cape Fur Seal. “Dude are they found in the Antarctic?” He asked the guys.
“No, I don’t think so.” Replied Kupono who is now standing by the master bedroom door.
“They are found in both South Africa and Australia for your information.” Adds Austin on another information.
“Dude, you sure know about the animals for your information.” Replied Pat who looks confused.
“Exactly, like how did you know these information?” Adds James who is now sitting on the bar stool by the kitchen island bar/ table.
“You need to go to Wikipedia; it is your friend.”
“Oh okay.”

After I pack my luggage; I told the girls I need to settle something between me and Austin.
“What do you think?” Ask Dorla but she [Ava] could only shrug.
While the girls wait at the doorway, I go to Austin who is now in a different attire from the attire he wore earlier; now his attire is a green Hawaiian Flag jersey with a number seven in the centre of the jersey as well as a pair of track bottoms he has from the volleyball match he used to play back in 2013.
“Hey Austin,” I greet him.
“Oh hey Paula; where are you going?” He replied to me with a kiss on both of my cheeks.
“I am going over to Michelle’s new house for the night and I am letting you know I am going to be with the girls for the whole day tomorrow.”
“Oh okay; I’ll see you tomorrow?” Ask Austin.
“Yep, tomorrow evening: see you soon: Austin.” I replied while planting a kiss on both cheeks.
“See you soon, baby.” He replied with a playful smile on his face.
Then I waved ‘Goodbye’ to him before I head out to follow the girls.
“Wow, where is she going?” Ask Hendrik who did look up on us.
“It’s okay, she is going to spend the night at Michelle’s new house.”
“Oh okay.”
“I guess she is going to have a change of scenery?” Ask Joe.
“I don’t think so but it sounds like it.”
“Hey, can we surface and go ashore on any of the iceberg?” Calls Stijn to everybody.
“Actually you can but only on the small icebergs.” Replied Dalton who is watching the game with a neutral face.
“Oh okay, thanks for letting me know ‘cause I’m feeling lost at this point.”
The guys laughed and he protest “Hey, I am just asking a question here!”
“Calm down everybody; looks like we have the apartment for the night ever since the girls are going to Michelle’s new house for the night plus the next day as well thus let’s have a great time shall we?” Announce Austin who calm Stijn down by letting his protest drown.
“Okay then,”: “Sure dude.” And a lot of agreements around the room from the other players.
“Thank you but you drown my comment; Austin.” Pipes up Stijn.
“Sorry but I do want to make an announcement to everybody here.”
“Oh, okay.”
“Really? Why do you want to protest on asking a question to everybody?” Ask Ian who is the British player from England with his British accent.
“I’m just asking but then you guys laughed at me!” Replied Stijn; sounding annoyed with how everybody is laughing at him just when he got a net violation against him.
“Easy, easy; Stijn—you just need to calm down; okay?” Whisper Austin who noticed the commotion between him and the other players however as an Aries, Stijn did have a frustrated nature sometimes.
“Yeah, I’m sorry; where can we have a word?”
“In my room ever since my girlfriend is at Michelle’s house for the night.”
“Hey can anybody take over the controller?” Calls Jennings.
“I’ll take over,” Pipes up Hendrik.
“Thanks,” Calls Austin gratefully while they [Austin and Stijn] go into the master bedroom to talk out the issue.

At Michelle’s new home, the girls have been changed to their pyjamas and washed up for the night. While the girls are prepared to sleep in the guest bedrooms; Michelle did turn on for us lo-fi mixtapes especially now it is the night time mixtape.
One of them I recognise is Midnight Aura which is a mix of lo-fi, jazz/ hip-hop and chill mixtape. [Credits to The Jazz Hop Cafe for the beautiful mixtape]
As I listened to the music from one of the guest bedroom, all of the sudden: an adorable creature is at the doorway. It is Michelle’s calico cat which she had found it just before the house guide and house warming party.
“Oh hey there, what are you doing here?” I called while she purrs at me softly.
I daren’t to move; I felt really nervous and for her; she is more curious than nervous: I remember earlier just when Dorla got in the house, she did yelp out of nowhere plus she [Michelle] has told us it is only her new pet kitty cat which is the reason why after the loss of her old silver tabby cat from an old age; the calico cat comes into Michelle’s life plus the calico cat is so curious on just about anything.
Plus she is enthusiastic to see me as well as the other girls.
As the curious calico cat goes around my left leg, I felt surprised by how she felt comfortable with everybody.
“Oh,” I whisper while I am holding my breath.
She stares at me; curious and feeling in love at the same time.
“Oh so no wonder you got into Michelle’s life after the loss of her old cat plus thankfully you are surrounded by love; right?”
She purrs softly while I stroked her soft calico fur which is just as soft as a blanket plus comforting as well such as a cup of hot coffee in the morning [Hey, Brett Rosenmeier here!]; a hot cup of tea at night with or without milk and honey plus even it reminds me of a cup of chocolate beverage welcoming you after going out into the snow on a cold; icy yet freezing winter weather.
“Oh wow, I got to thank Michelle for that.”
I got up and go to see Michelle in her living room; working on her idea of Em Cosmetics.
“Hey Michelle,”
“Oh, hey there; aren’t you’re supposed to be in your bed?”
“Yeah but you sound like my dad and Austin’s parents when you said ‘Aren’t you’re supposed to be in your bed?”
“Same goes for my mom; she wants me; Steve and Christine to be in bed when it is bedtime back when we are younger.”
We both laughed, oh; the days of being a kid; only having the responsibility on school as well as not to worry about something in the world.
“So what do you want to talk about?”
“Look . . . I just want to say . . . thank you for the beautiful calico cat you have and I agree; she is very much like you as what Promise had said.”
“I agree, thank you and thank you for enjoying my new house for the night.”
“You’re welcome, I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Yep, goodnight girl.”
“You too, Michelle.”
Then we both laughed and on the way back to the guest bedroom; we called to each other out again on ‘Goodnight’.
“Goodnight Michelle.”
“Goodnight to you too, Paula.”

Back at the apartment, Austin talks to Stijn about how he didn’t mean to get infuriated so quickly.
“Dude, I know you are an Aries and you may have this kind of personality but you don’t have to go too far with this kind of energy; Stijn.”
“I know I’m sorry but it is hard for me not to do it just when someone is laughing at me or calling me out in a very negative way.”
“I understand; dude but there is no need for you to be upset about something.”
“Yeah, I’m sorry for scaring you.”
“It’s okay; dude. Hey do you want to have a sleepover here? I mean you and I like you know . . . do something the girls does.”
“Oh you sure about this?”
While Austin gets up to turn on the white Radio on a music; it is now playing ‘Angel to me’ in English by McKay Jeff Bernat. (Credits to Discovery of Radio for the English version)
With the music playing softly in the background, Austin replied “Definitely.”

Back in the living room where now the boys are playing on Zahhab Region level, James is the first one to yawn.
“Is it just me or is it getting late? I need to go back to my apartment.” He announced sleepily.
“Same here but I am going to stay here for tonight ever since I brought my belongings in a bag with me.” Replied Rosey who is now getting up from the couch.
“Cool, anyone else?”
“No, I need to go back home and I don’t want to be late for work tomorrow.” Replied Larry.
“Same here, got to get up early tomorrow.” Adds Jennings.
“Yeah, we all decided to go back.” Pipes us Kupono.
“Actually; I need to go back to Moraga otherwise my dad would non-stop calling me like crazy.” Said Joe.
“Okay, okay; okay—we need to let Austin know.”
As Austin continue quietly talking to Stijn; he [James] knocks on the door softly and ask “Hey, it is getting late and can we shut down the game?”
“Yeah but why? Did you guys finish the game or something like that?”
“No but we can continue on another day on the game thus can we save the data?”
“Yes and make sure you don’t do anything while the game is saving the data.”
“Sure.”

After everybody exchange their goodbyes while the game and the console is off, Austin ask Rosey “Whoa, you are going to stay here for the night? Is there something on going between you and Annalise? Did she kicked you out of the apartment?”
“Nah, she wants to spend the night with her friends then I decided to give her the privacy she needs.”
“Cool, I’d think you two need to prepare for bed.”
After preparing for bed and changing into their pyjamas, the three of them chatted away about how it did feel good to do something normally the girls does however they decided to follow our footsteps to get a guys night in.
By the time when the clock is around one in the morning, this is when they exchange their goodnights and go to their respective room; Rosey takes the couch in the living room which also convert into a bed additionally he borrows a blanket from Austin while Stijn is in the guest bedroom where earlier Austin and Paula sets the bed up plus Austin as usual; sleeping in the master bedroom on his side of the king size bed which faces the balcony door.
