While I am now walking down at Mission Beach in San Diego ever since the move: I am still planning out on what I actually want to do ever since very soon I am going to be in college back at my dad’s home in Seattle and when I am back there; there is no turning back at this point.
Austin had send me a message saying how sorry he was and I told him it is best we go in our separate ways while we need to seek therapy on how we can work to improve ourselves yet to learn on self-love additionally how we can learn to maintain a proper relationship between us.

Now he is back in Los Angeles; I am now moving to San Diego ever since Jose who is the landlord of our apartment had told me now we had to move from there to elsewhere ever since the number of crime we are living at the apartment building we used to live for less than five years (I’d think it might be two or three years) have become much more worse than what it used to be before.

In addition to our separation; Jose had told me he decided to settle for San Diego because this is the only hope we had left in California ever since I had been there for more than just a year however it does felt difficult.

Thankfully Ava who is living in San Diego had told me she will let me stay at her parent’s home ever since both of us are still working our applications to the colleges we are applying additionally not only we had become much more closer than we are before additionally she understands about how relationship can be difficult at times in addition to the reason why she wasn’t in a relationship with anyone or anybody.

I hadn’t heard from Dorla, Michelle or Promise—I know Michelle and Promise are busy with their lives while Dorla I had heard she wanted to go back to New Orleans to prioritize her senior year of high school as well as applying for different colleges on where she is planning.

I also hadn’t heard from anybody as well ever since they all had move on with their lives.

Not even from Brett ‘Rosey’ Rosenmeier, Stijn Van Tilburg or anybody ever since they felt upset about what has happened between me and Austin on the ‘so-called’ cheating with another man in New York City.

I really wish I can take everything all back in a heartbeat however I couldn’t.

Now, with us in different locations in California—Austin is in LA with another girl which I am happy for him though but feeling sad as well ever since both of us had work so hard on our relationship between us however with his senior year ahead in UCLA—I didn’t want to get in the way of his senior year thus we decided to part ways.

While we part ways, I decided to clear my head at Mission Beach by doing long walks—even though it does tend to get boring though; I just go with the flow whereas I reflect on my own thoughts from my past and even my present.

Deep in my thoughts, I suddenly heard a call from someone; I thought it is Ava however on a second thought—it is definitely nobody, just an echo.

“Hey!”

I kept on walking and another voice; it is the same voice however much louder in addition to clearer this time.

“Hey!”

I turned around it is a guy who is jogging up to me, he looks very different to Austin—much more different to Austin.

His skin complexion is very different; while Austin’s skin is very moderately tan; his skin complexion is like a shade of brown however not too light; not too dark—just in between both level and a little bit closer to the light side however it is still brown: his hair is very different to Austin.

Austin and I—we both have jet black hair; while Austin’s jet black hair is shirt and curly while mine is long and straight.

His hair much more different ever since he did have the same curly hair; except his roots are black while the rest of his hair is blonde like sunshine golden locks.

Plus I also notice his curls are much tighter than Austin’s; which means Austin’s curls are pretty lose but not too overly lose.

“You okay?” He ask me, looking truly concerned about what had happened.

“Yeah, and why did you call me out?” I reply, feeling confused about why is he calling me just as when there is a fire somewhere.

“Oh nothing, I am just worried about you.”

“Okay . . .”

The whole meeting between us is feeling awkward, not only I meet a cute looking guy who does have a beautiful brown skin yet he looks different to Austin.

Plus when he is staring at me with his pair of beautiful dark brown eyes, his eyes are full of concern.

“Hey . . . are you originally from here?”

I replied “No, I am not from here—originally born in New York City with mom then move to Seattle with dad before living in Honolulu just for a few years.”

“Oh, okay—then what brings you here?”

“My ex used to bring me here back then however it is Santa Monica; now I decided to move down to San Diego.”

“Wow, you seems to do this all by yourself.”

“Exactly.”

While the breeze blowing on our faces; I pushed my long black hair aside thus I can get a good look at the guy. He is only clad in a pair of black boardshorts and I am here in my red short sleeve shirt additionally a pair of black shorts.

In addition, I still kept my elastic white lacy headband from Joe who bought it for me from a flea market and now, I frequently wear it wherever I go.

“So  . . . who are you by the way?” He asked me with a smile on his face—just to welcome me to San Diego while I am living with my best friend Ava.

“Paula, my name is Paula Leah.” I replied with a neutral voice while smiling truthfully to meet him.

“I’m Chaz. Chaz Galloway and welcome to San Diego, nice to meet you; Paula Leah.” He replied, feeling happy I could manage to introduce myself to him.

“Nice to meet you too, Chaz.” I replied with a genuine smile while we shake hand as a welcoming exchange.
