Author's notes; this is the second chapter where they did get to see Dr. Maria who is the doctor I mentioned in this particular chapter of this particular Fan fiction I did it on here plus also no offense to anyone who does truthfully loves M&M sweets as well as Skittles and Smarties sweets but I do truthfully hated them due to the coloring they did added it into the M&M candies thus forget about M&M; Skittles and Smarties; give me a good pack of the Lotus's Biscoff biscuits with a good cup of my favorite hot coffee any day and anyway over the M&M candies any day and anyway.
Also, remember: this is only the second chapter of the 'Taking care of you' of a Logan Sargeant and a wahine reader.

"Okay, so you have any symptoms of a period? For example; uncomfortable period cramps; exhaustion: drainage of energy, mood swings; food craving, anything like that?" Ask Dr. Maria who is now checking on you as you sit at the chair next to her table while Logan sits at the left chair where it is across from her table.
"Yes, I mean . . . I do . . . it's just . . . terrible as honestly; I did remembered how I got a terrible cramp this morning and I collapse to the floor into a fetal position and last night; I too experience the same menstrual period cramp except instead . . . I noticed how the blood got all over the place too heavily all over the bathroom floor." You replied just before you gave a genuinely guilty look of facial expression to Logan before turning back your attention to Dr. Maria.
"Oh, oh dear; oh no . . . um, okay . . . what about food cravings?" As an afterthought she add; "Or drinks that is."
"Um . . . ice cream? I mean . . . I'm guilty as charged but some days; maybe something like a pack of pretzels I would polish the whole medium size bag of it and then sometimes; perhaps a bag of Bluebird potato chips, maybe even a bag of the classic Cheetos or a bar of chocolate: perhaps a box of chocolates otherwise it might be the signature Godiva chocolate ice cream they do have very occasionally and maybe even some days maybe even nothing at all as I did have to truly experience a timeline of a loss of appetite." You replied sheepishly while staring at the floor just as when your left foot started to tap rapidly and when she notices you are tapping your left feet; then you stop tapping your left feet out of anxiousness.
"Oh, any drinks like other than water? Maybe some fruit smoothie beverages; perhaps a can of soda drink or otherwise . . . maybe a glass of milkshake; but if it is alcohol drink you are craving for; be careful as there could be a consequence of how it might alter your menstrual period cycle if you are craving for alcohol." Dr. Maria; sounding worried if you are craving for a glass of any alcoholic drinks in general.
"No alcohol but mostly sodas; smoothies, even acai bowls; sometimes maybe even a milkshake sometimes; perhaps even an ice blended drinks." You replied, feeling guilty about pouring out the information you shared with the doctor and she raised her eyebrows.
"Oh wow, that does reminds me of so many of the patients I worked with before and just like you, there are some who did have to experience the same symptoms but surprising you did mentioned you did craved for soda drinks."
"Especially when I want to drink something sober to stay clear of the alcohol drinks."
"Be careful not to drink alcohol as earlier I have mentioned; there could consequences on how it can alter your cycle of menstrual period if you are craving for alcohol drinks."
"No, ma'am: of course not but I don't drink anything alcoholic in general. But he does with the mai tais from the Pink Palace for a glass or two." You replied politely but pointed to Logan whom he gives her a sincere guilty smile on his face as she narrowed her eyes towards him.
"Well, sir; you better keep your wahine away from the alcoholic drinks, I mean menstrual period cravings for those food like chocolates, ice cream: chips and even acai bowls? That's one thing for a lady to crave for it and that's totally fine as it is totally normal for a lady whom she is on her period to crave for those things I've mentioned earlier but alcoholic drinks? Stay away from the alcohol permanently until her menstrual period is permanently and truthfully gone because if either you or somebody else gave her a glass of an alcoholic drink then I'll say, forget the alcohol; young man. As a young gentleman whom my keikis know you from your F1 days; you better be the actual gentleman you can be both in real life and online." Dr. Maria warned him sternly about the part where he had steer clear of any alcoholic drinks/ beverages in order to definitely prevent any altercations to your health.
"Um . . . yes, ma'am."
"Don't just 'Yes; ma'am' me; sir: you better be different to those people whom they'll just cave in to give a glass of alcoholic beverages for their woman and consequently; you what had happened? They have to get medically examined by a doctor whom does menstrual period and yet they have to also learn a hard and a fateful lesson which they had learned from the experience of it, Mr. Logan." Maria said, sounding like a stern and a protective mother in law whom she is protective of her wahines especially those who are on a menstrual period cycle and with you are on your current period run; she had told him sternly not to let anyone to give you either a cigarette or a glass of an alcohol drink to alter your period cycle and your health line permanently therefore after she had to truly give him a reminder of warning not give any type of alcohol drinks or even a cigarette towards you just as when she had mentioned about the consequences of what would had happened to you if you have taken a sip of an alcohol drink or even take a cigarette where if you did then suddenly, you knew your health could be altered both by the alcohol intake as well as taking a cigarette from a random person whom they don't know and vice versa on how you truthfully know about them either.
"Um . . . got it, yes ma'am." He replied, now sounding truthfully nervous by how the doctor is sounding stern and protective about how there are so many patients especially the wahines where when they are on their period; then this is where they got to be careful especially when there are alcoholic beverages or a cigarette where if a person offers it to them then there could be unexpected consequences where they have to truthfully face it.
"Same goes for you, Y/N: better you stay away from both the cigarette and also a glass of an alcohol drink as well because if you don't steer yourself clear of it then the last thing I ever have from my mind is to hear the news is that you have to go to hospital for that, young lady." Dr. Maria warns you sternly as well although you didn't say anything much from the earlier conversation you have it with her earlier.
"You mean I have to stay away from both a cigarette and an alcohol drink, ma'am." You replied; repeating her words just to make it truthfully clear she needs you to truthfully be careful especially when you are on your period run.
"Yes, again; as I had told you so; stay away from both the alcohol drinks and the cigarette." She warned you again just to make it clear on a note where you shouldn't be taking any cigarettes or drink an alcohol drink from a random person whom they would offer a glass of an alcoholic beverage.
"Yes, ma'am; got it." You replied while taking out your diary and a Juice up 0.4 Pen in a light blue color thus you can take all of the notes she had mentioned it to you earlier.
Plus this is what you have wrote the notes in your diary in a clean; neat and a classic block of a handwriting:
"What you should steer clear of when you are on your period:
-Alcoholic drinks (Alcohol drinks can alter the period cycle so no to alcohol permanently but thankfully I don't sincerely drink any alcoholic drinks in general! But then again . . . forget the alcohol; drink more water as a hydration reminder.)
-A cigarette (I don't usually smoke but . . . again, it's best not to smoke but thankfully I don't smoke that's for sure!)"
After thanking the doctor for the words of advices; the both of you went out to the waiting area where there is a couple who are now chatting with each other about something and meanwhile there is a mother and a girl who does looks like her daughter as you may assume she might be around 12 or 13 years old with a sulky look on her face thus you remembered how the older woman whom the both of you assumed she is the mother of the sulking daughter whom the both of you have also overheard the conversation about how she shouldn't be taking M & M sweets when she is on her period due to the ingredients in the M & M sweets.
As you take a small sip of your fresh water from your metal water bottle where thankfully Logan helped you by cleaning your water bottle to drain the water from a few days ago followed by the steps where he cleans the water bottle on the edge of the water bottle as well as the whole bottle just before he washed the internal part with hot water before he did drained it and pour in a new, clean and a fresh batch of water into your water bottle just for you while you had taken a shower earlier.
Meanwhile one of the nurses who her name is Carrie has called the woman who is with a man as a couple; they went to the medicine counter where she has to definitely describe what are the medicines are for and which ones do they need to take it during the time of the day while Logan pulled out his phone to check on his friends social media platforms on what are the posts where he had missed it out while you take out your diary to definitely start doing more doodles where you have drawn surf boards; sea shells, starfishes and even a little wahine scuba diver which does resembles you as you mindlessly doodle it all over the edge of your diary entries.
As he peers over to look at your diary, you closed the diary immediately and said with a playful smirk on your face: "Nice try, Logan but it is confidential; Logan."
"Oh sorry, but I want to see your art, Y/N." He apologizes bashfully; knowing he saw you several times watching countless art videos online from online artists of Tina Tran (A.k.a Imawonder); Christina (A.k.a Christina Lorre) and so on and so forth on YT when you are using the ocean palette iMac the both of you got it from the official Apple Technology Store at the Ala Moana Shopping Center as they have released a collection of iMac computers in different color palettes of Galaxy which is a color palette of a purple ombre from dark to light, Sakura which is a color palette of different colors of pink and ocean which is a color palette of different blues and greens especially with the turquoise and teals apart from the different shades of blues from light to dark.
"Oh it's okay, maybe I'll get a separate notebook where I can show you all of my doodles that I did it in my diary mindlessly." You replied while giving a playful smile on your face.
Then Logan chuckles at you in a good-naturedly type of way before he pats you on the back to give you a signal of 'You better share with me though thus I am feeling truthfully interested in how you did your art, Y/N.' Before you can give him an equally light and a playful shove towards him.

By the time when Carrie has called your name then the both of you went to the medicine counter where she had give you a pack of medicines where you must follow the instructions they did mentioned it to you about the medicine they would give it to you for your period cramps thus although you don't normally do the medication however when she notices the concerned look on your face; she told you "If the cramps you have aren't too serious then maybe you don't have to take it but if it is too serious, make sure you can take it or otherwise, if you are unsure you can definitely fix another appointment where you can visit her again."
You nodded quietly while Logan asked "Wait a minute, hold on; if her cramps aren't too serious; does she needs to truthfully take the medicine?"
"Well, to be honest; if her cramps aren't too serious then she don't need to take it but if the cramps are still there while it is a serious cramp the she may have to take it or if the medicine didn't work then you may have to fix her another visit to the doctors'." Carrie answer Logan's question while he prepares himself to cover the medical check-up expansion.
"No offense; sir, but we now do both card or electronic wallet since we are going cashless otherwise you might want to do a transfer."
"Transfer but like what do you mean?"
"Meaning we are talking about you giving the transfer to the clinic's official account if you wanted to give the transfer online." Carrie explained to him patiently while you pull out your 'emergency only' as a back-up card to your actual main debit card just so you can cover the expansion however Logan signals you not to do it since he wanted to do all covering on the medical check-up and also the medicines you have to definitely take for your period run as you aren't too sure when does your period is going to end however Dr. Maria has confirmed to you that it will be several days time when it might take up weeks and perhaps maybe during the first week of the next month of so therefore all you can do is to wait while you pray to God to not only survive for the next couple of days while you are on your period timeline where not only you have to refrain yourself from taking certain things which can cause the blood flow to become worse but also; the period flow could become heavier.
"Oh okay, but is it okay we can do card?" He ask her while all you can do is to simply watch the both of them interacting with each other in a friendly way.
"Sure, we can." Carrie replied while takes the credit card machine to let Logan tap his card on the machine.
"You okay?" He ask you while you watch him with a what supposed to be a neutral facial expression except it turns out it does feels more stony than you would expected it to be.
"I am feeling truthfully okay, Logan." You replied quietly to him while you are hiding your jealousy towards his friendly interaction with Carrie.
"Are you sure? Maybe we can talk about it while we are on the way to somewhere." He replied; sounding as careful as he can since he got worried that if he did mention the location of the shopping center where the both of you are exactly going after a visit to a clinic where they do both women's health and the topic of menstrual period in general.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I am trying not to mention it in front of her that is. " He whispered to you just so Carrie didn't hear the words he has said to you.
"Okay." You replied and after she had handed Logan both the official receipt and also the debit card receipt plus the both of you head out quietly from the clinic to the Ford Fiesta where you let him take the driver seat while you take the passenger seat next to him since you got truthfully worried about the part where your exhaustion can take you over and suddenly, something unexpected happened to you consequently.
"Sorry if I did get jealous: Logan." You replied quietly while the both of you fasten your seat belts and when you apologize to him for your hidden jealous streak towards him and Carrie who is the same nurse whom Logan does have a friendly interaction between the both of them; however you did have a hidden jealousy towards the both of them just as when you did watch them interacting with each other whereas you are internally feeling doubtful and envious at the same time as well.
