Author's note: This is the second part of the 1st Dialogue Post I did on my personal blog ever since I have decided to post it here on my personal blog ever since there are the changes on Tumblr that they made to be honest and I just didn't want to embrace the change on Tumblr to be honest.
Trigger warning: This post may contain mentions of depression when they are talking about a job change as well as Lish mentioning about how people would thoughts of taking their own life if don't leave their job sooner.
Disclaimer: This is only a work of a fiction therefore there is no need to take it seriously as if this happens in real life.
(*Scene takes place at the Queen Kapiolani swimming pool; both girls are now relaxing on their lounge chairs while watching a lone swimmer doing laps in different swimming strokes*)
Satou: (*Sits down on chair after placing towel on the back of the lounge chair*) Wow, today seems to be a really nice day; don't you think, Lish?
Allisha: I know, today is a good day to sit down; relax and taking the time to reflect on what you have been through.
Satou: Awesome, now this is what I call a fantastic day to relax and recover. (*Sighs happily*)
A few minutes later . . .
Allisha: (*turns to face Satou*) Hey Satou.
Satou: Huh?
Allisha: How is your knee?
Satou: What do you mean?
Allisha: Oh, I am talking about your knee here to be honest.
Satou: Oh, you mean my knee; I mean I have check in with a doctor the other day and he told me I need to be really careful with myself especially when I am returning to the basketball court.
Allisha: Oh okay.
Satou: What your ankle: Lish?
Allisha: My ankle is okay but otherwise they told me to be very careful however I am sad I am going to miss out two games because of the ankle injury I have.
Satou: I know how you feel, Lish--it doesn't feel fun at all to endure any of the basketball injuries but sometimes we have to encounter the bumps and obstacles we have to go through in our life plus we can only have one choice.
Allisha: And what's that?
Satou: You only have two choice; you can either give up and quit or you can learn how to keep going by learning how to keep trying your best to simply keep practicing no matter what is the type of situation you are in.
Allisha: Wow, that's amazing, Satou.
Satou: Yes, you did remember how did told me about this type of advice during the Wubble season.
Allisha: Oh, I don't know if I can remember.
Satou: Actually I'd think this is the time when we are in the bathroom at a hotel when we are preparing for a night out.
Allisha: Oh wow, I can remember that now; thank you.
Satou: (*Turns back to look at the beach and the swimming pool*) You're welcome.
A few hours later . . .
(*Allisha gets up from her chair and starts stretching*)
Allisha: Wow, it is getting really hot. I am going to take a dip or something like that.
(*Lish walks into swimming pool and waded out until the center of the swimming pool*)
Allisha: Ahhh . . . Nothing feels better than taking a nice and a refreshing swim into the pool. (*Looks out at the scenery*)
(*Another splash sound and Lish turns around to see Satou in the pool*)
Satou: Hey.
Allisha: Oh hi, Satou.
Satou: I just thought I could join you in the swimming pool to cool down from the soaring heat.
Allisha: Yeah, it is getting hotter and hotter by the day.
Satou: Oh.
Allisha: Are you okay?
Satou: Oh, I'm okay; as long as I am being careful with my knee then I am doing okay to be honest.
Allisha: Oh okay.
Satou: What about you and your ankle?
Allisha: I mean my ankle is okay . . . except they want me to be very careful with my ankle.
Satou: Okay.
(*Both girls wade the quietly and Allisha swims to the other side of the swimming pool*)
Allisha: Wow, isn't the scenery is just fantastic?
Satou: What do you mean?
Allisha: (*Continues to look at the scenery*) The scenery; Satou.
Satou: (*Looks out to the scenery*) Wow, this is amazing.
Allisha: I know, isn't it? Being in Hawaii does gives a lot of benefit to every body.
Satou: Not everybody, unfortunately.
Allisha: Oh why?
Satou: You do realize there are so many homeless people are still roaming around Hawaii, don't you think?
Allisha: Oh yeah, definitely. Plus it feels like a big pity for them to go through the process of being home less to be honest.
Satou: I know, there are so many people who are suffering from the situation of being homeless except sometimes we may never know what they are going through yet we take out the little things for granted.
Allisha: Oh, I am sorry to hear that.
Satou: It's okay, Lish--I just think sometimes we need to learn how to understand that there is more to life than just having to be stuck in a place where you felt truthfully unhappy and miserable for the rest of your life.
Allisha: Oh.
Satou: Yes, there are so many people who are still stuck in a job where they actually feeling truthfully unhappy with their very own life to be honest.
Allisha: Oh, that's sad.
Satou: I know, it is so sad to hear to hear this from everybody and I felt as if I have the power to let my voice to be heard; I want to let them know . . . you have the truthful rights to change your mind.
Allisha: Oh. When you said that; did you mean that they can actually move from there?
Satou: Yes, just think of how there is a man who is feeling truthfully unhappy with his job working at a medical field as a nurse and yet, he felt as if he wanted to move on from there after having to endure a lot of pain of having to go through a manager who not only affect his mental health so badly plus if this wasn't just enough; he had to experience the negative co-workers who spreads the negative energy and yet; they made such comments that may sound harmless at first and when this type of cycle continues; it can become a form of bullying plus this really leads him to the point where started to lose the joy and motivation that he used to have mentally.
Allisha: Oh no, that's awful--no wonder this is where people have decided to change their jobs.
Satou: Exactly and if they don't leave quickly as soon as possible from a toxic work place then this is where they start losing their motivation so quickly that they get to the point where they felt as if they didn't want to do anything in their any more.
Allisha: I'm sorry to hear that; Satou.
Satou: It's okay, Lish and to be honest: when they lost their joy, happiness and having the motivation to do an activity that they usually like to do as a hobby every day--they easily can fall into a black hole of depression where they endure a lot of thoughts of either leaving their job as quickly as possible or sorry to say this but . . .
Allisha: Or having to endure the thoughts of taking their own life.
Satou: Oh now, that's scary, Allisha.
Allisha: I know it is scary, isn't it?
Satou: Yeah, it is scary for sure.
Allisha: That's what my parents told me: "If you don't like the job then don't stay there because of the different reason." (*Smiles and winks at Satou*)
Satou: (*Looks at Allisha with a surprised face*) Wow, Allisha: I didn't know your parents did taught you something about having to leave a toxic job.
Allisha: Yeah, my dad; Dr. Allen Gray taught me and so did my mom Annie Gray as well as my older brother thus I decided to pass it onto my younger brother and sister that I have ever since I am growing up with one older brother and two younger sibling on a brother and sister.
Satou: Wow, amazing: Lish--it seems they have taught you and your siblings on something crucial especially when it comes to the normal every day life.
