Author’s note: Actually Austin does wear the same white cap on his head throughout the story except for sleeping and showering thus who does that? I am actually inspired by one of my favourite picture I found of him except I am not going to place the photo here ever since this might be a personal photo I found on Instagram.
Credits to Austin as that_afakasi on Instagram for the lovely nice photo of that.
However the board shorts are actually different therefore in this one—he wears a pair of black board shorts with white edges and double white stripes on either side of the board shorts from Hurley—a surf brand.

The next morning, when we woke up; the sky is actually cloudy however there wasn’t any rain today although there may be a bit of sunlight except the clouds are pretty much making the weather more cooler with a cool breeze which feels like a natural air conditioner.
[Hence why he open the door which leads to the lanai; swimming pool area on feeling the cool breeze from the outside.]
“Hey Austin, why did you open the doors last night?” I ask him sleepily.
“Well, let’s just say it feels warm inside therefore I decided to open it to feel the breeze from mother nature herself.” Winks Austin.
I nod as I am now sleeping in my bed however he wake me up and called “Hey you better get up, girl before we miss it out.”
“But can you check the time on your phone?”
He takes a look at his silver T303 and it is around eight in the morning.
“Oh, do you still want to sleep in?”
“No, because I don’t think it is a good idea therefore we better get up!” I called as I get up to go to the bathroom.
~
After a few hours later with full stomach—we walk around the island instead of riding the bike like the other day on how I fell down from beautiful white bicycle they have.
“So what are we going to talk about: Austin?”
“I don’t know, what do you think?”
I shrugged as we walk past by a life sized chessboard with actual pieces of the chess are just reaching the height on my shoulders.
We also pass by a beach volleyball court, a building which they do have a boxing ring on Muay Thai boxing as we might think this is an activity center.
Passing on an area called cinema under the stars and the orchid garden—he ask me “Do you want to go inside there?”
He meant on the orchid garden and yes, I would like to go there.
“Oh definitely, I am going in there.” I answer with a smile.
“Me too, let’s go.”
When we enter in there, it may look like a typical garden except it does look like an area where they mostly grow on orchid flowers.
“Wow, this is a gorgeous place!” I exclaim while walking around the orchard.
“So gorgeous, isn’t it? I mean nothing feels beautiful than that!”
“You mean nothing feels amazing then that!”
“Hey, amazing; gorgeous: lovely, wonderful; all of the positive keywords? You name it, girl.”
I laugh as he laugh along with me as well.
We take a look around the garden for a long time then after that, he told me we can head down to one of the beaches around the island ever since the path we are now walking down is a path which leads to another beach right down the path.
“Do you know which beach? I know one of them has a pair of swings and the underwater restaurant.”
“I don’t know but we’ll see which one!” Shrugs Austin while having another soft laugh.
We both ended up laughing even more and walk on until . . . when we reach the beach—it is actually a different beach; it did have a beach volleyball court; a catamaran boat to the left: when we out—to our right: there is a pair of sun lounger with a beach umbrella on one side: in the water—there is a signpost in a shallow part of the water; the building to the our left is actually a water sports centre where we go kayaking that day when we are using the transparent kayak hence why there is the catamaran boat.
The building in the distance over the water we might think it is another water sports centre additionally the one over the water—this might be the one which does on scuba diving while the others are on the other building which is the one with the bright colour kayaks additionally the one with the catamaran boat on the left of the building.
We look at the building—the one on the beach which they also have a shelter for the jet skis as well as paddle boards, surf boards and even boards on kite surfing with power kites in there.
“Wow, I’d might think this is a very different beach to the others we seen before.” I said, as the first person to break the silence.
“Exactly and hey, did you see something in the water?” He replied to me while nudging his hand on my shoulder to signal to look to my right.
I look to the right and I see something but what is it then?
“Oh, you better watch your path: girl because there is a step on a pier.”
“Oh.”
Then he hold my hand; we walk on the flat ground of the wooden floor: then he help me down however I didn’t need to say anything thus I didn’t want to either to scare him or to say something on upsetting him.
I didn’t want to truly spoil this moment between us.
Luckily we got a better view just after walking another few more steps, the item on the water is floating additionally now we got a better view; we realise it wasn’t a body.
It turns out it is an inflatable playground! I shake my head however it is in a good way with a breath; plus I pipe up to Austin with a laugh: “Austin! You know this isn’t a body of an animal—it is only a playground!”
“Oh! I didn’t realize that! I am so sorry, oh my goodness what am I thinking?” Replied Austin feeling truly guilty on his face and his voice while burying his face in his hands walking around in circles not in a crazy way—more like in ‘I’m so guilty!’ Kind of way.
I laughed so hard and Austin is now moaning in a guilty way—a staff come out nowhere just like magic.
“Hey, is everything okay?” He ask, looking confused about why am I laughing plus why Austin is now moaning about being guilty.
“Huh?” Ask Austin who stopped moaning.
“Actually, I just want to check on both of you as guests as it is our main priority for us to check up on the both of you.”
“Oh, I am so sorry; sir—is this playground is only for families or us young adults can enter?” I ask, sounding curious and confused at the same time.
“Actually if you do have young kids—make sure they do have a parents supervision otherwise any hotel guests who did make a reservation at our resort can enter.”
“Okay, thus only guests who book their reservation at Anantara Kihavah can only go there. If not then no.”
“Oh okay, thank you for letting us know.”
“You’re welcome and what makes you two fell in love with here Anantara Kihavah?”
“Actually she couldn’t help herself but talking about it all the time so happily and excitedly.” Replied Austin with a smile plus a wink.
“Oh cool, thank you—so you ask the question earlier because you thought this is actually for families with kids only?”
“Yeah, I was thinking about that.”
“Yes but they need to have parents and older kids to look after them because safety first and I’d think I mention earlier on our main priority is checking on our guests just to make sure everything is doing well.”
“Ah, I understand and you know the ocean can be a perilous place.”
“Exactly, the ocean can actually be dangerous therefore it is important to understand the rules while respecting the ocean as well—I need to know where do you two are coming from?”
“Hawaii, actually however we do fall in love with the beauty of Maldives additionally we also know how dangerous the ocean are.”
“Exactly and one of the important rule is ‘Never turn your back on the ocean’ to prevent from drowning.” Adds Austin.
“Oh so no wonder you guys know very well about the rules of the ocean.”
“Exactly and thank you for letting us having a small talk with you about the ocean and the priority on your guests!”
“You’re welcome! I am very happy to hear you two enjoy your time at here—plus have a great time; you two.” The staff replied with a generous smile on his face.
“Thank you!” We both chorused together.
As the staff went back in the building, we kept walking back to the path to our water villa while talking about how many different resorts are there in the atolls of Maldives.
“Well, I know there are three by the same company additionally there are two private residences which makes it five.”
“Exactly, there are the Soneva resorts: Four Seasons and so on and so forth, you name it.”
The wind may feel strong which got my long straight black hair got into my face however I push them aside additionally we continue talking more about the number of resorts in Maldives.
It may take hours for us to walk back to the water villa however we kept going while we kept talking.

By the time when we arrived to the water villa; we got on the bed—feeling tired and lazy to even go anywhere.
I sigh quietly; right now I am feeling so tired which makes me want to take a shower a bit later at the indoor shower additionally we could order room service from the personal butler.
“You know what? When ordering room service—maybe we can order a vegan dish additionally the calamari rings and two rice thus we can end up sharing it.” I speak up while Austin slept quietly on his deep breathing.
“Good idea, I am just going to take a rest for a while.”
“Thank you.”
Then we ended up resting and doing the plans much more later.
