"Oh wait, are you referring to the bookstore where we had searched for the more seldom books you did wanted to read it for a really long time: wahine."
"I'd think so, is it still there?"
"I don't know but . . . you do truthfully realized that the cafe is just next door to the cafe, is it?"
"Yes, and . . . is everything okay: Kai?"
"Um, did we looked at the time?"
"What? Oh no!"
"What's wrong, Rachel?"
"We have to go: Kai, I am going to be currently late for my job!"
"Oh no, you are taking place of a co-worker whom they are on a medical leave; are they?"
"Yeah, they did told me they did needed everyone to be "All hands on deck" type of duty today since there are a shortage of staffs today at my current work place."
"I'm sorry I know this may sound repetitive but . . . you were working at the Mahina boutique; right?"
"Oh yeah, I wasn't planning on working at there but . . ."
"It's okay, we needed to get prepared; get dressed and also we do urgently needed to get there ASAP; Rachel!"

"Go, get prepared; dressed and go to the car: ASAP now, Rach; NOW!"

Then off as they both rushed off to truthfully get prepared for the journey to their respective jobs where they are currently working as their current day jobs.

"Argh! Someone's car just stopped us from exiting the parking basement and the EV charger we both are now driving and riding." Kai protested while closing the driver's car door on the driver side of the car with a slight bang of frustration they had while clicking on the safety belt.
"More like you are the driver as usual including both now and also in this current case now just as when we both needed to headed out to work right here right now, Kai."
"I know, I know: we do needed to head out right now; R!"
"Whoa there; Kai: I know, I know; I know you are feeling truthfully upset and frustrated right now based on how you wanted to head off to your work and so do I; K, I do really wanted to get my work place too but you didn't have to be so demanding by raising your voice at me; Kai."
"I'm sorry, Rachel; I'd think I didn't meant to yell at you all of the sudden so instantly out of nowhere and I didn't meant to raise my voice in you just as what you had mentioned to me earlier on how I am feeling frustrated on how there is a stupid car blocking our car from exiting the EV charger and the parking spot where we are currently at; R."
"Ugh, and let's not forget; they didn't left a piece of paper with their personal information to truthfully let us know how can we contact them: Kai."
"Oh man, I am feeling so worried: Rach--I am feeling genuinely worried about how we are going to be late for our respective jobs and . . ."
"Hold on, wait!!! Sorry, ladies!" A kane called out while Kai hung her own head where she had suddenly forgot she honked the steering wheel unexpectedly out of nowhere instantly where it simply honked loudly with a really loud honk where startled everyone else including both of the wahines and the kane whom he had parked his car in front of their car.
"Oh no, I'm sorry; ladies!!!!!" The same kane whom he had double parked his car in front of their car had kept on apologizing in embarrassment and Rachel scowled at the kane out of frustration; impatient and annoyance.
"I am so going to regret this." Moaned Kai out of frustration where they had stewed in them to the point where they may not know when she is going to truthfully blow out of anger.
"I know, I know I. . . I didn't want to ask this but . . . are you feeling okay?" Rachel asked her as she softens the scowl from earlier she had given it to the kane whom he had double parked his car.
"I wish, but I am genuinely not okay; Rachel."
"Oh, okay; do you want me to drive for you then? I'll take a cab later on to get to my work place."
"Actually; I would think it might be a good idea thus honestly; I really don't want the both of us get to into an unexpected accident out of nowhere: Rachel."
"You said it, Kai. You might want to shut off the car engine just so I can drive the car; Kai."
"Got it." Kai replied then did as what she had said before they opened the driver's car door and walked out where they aren't feeling truthfully shocked and surprised to see how the kane whom he had double parked his car in front of their car plus already: they did felt a waves of regret; anger and annoyance plus the waves of concern washing all over them internally while walking past by them silently.
"Um, excuse me; ma'am: i know you are feeling truthfully upset and angry plus frustrated and all but . . . can I ask you something?" He asked them as she slowly turned her head to see them with a current perplexed facial expression on their own face as they are now truthfully looking confused and annoyed by their own actions however; it is the waves of confusion where it has now washed all over here just as they are now feeling genuinely perplexed about what do they want.
"Ugh, what now." They thought, now feeling frustrated and confused by the same kane whom they are trying their best to get their attention just so they can definitely have an actual word with them altogether.
"Look, can . . . can we have a word; please?" He asked them; feeling genuinely timid about how they would instantly react out of nowhere.
Although they aren't too pleased and happy to have a word with them however they decided to do it anyway since he wanted to speak with them alone.

After what feels like a long and lengthy conversation; Rachel whom she decided to roll the car windows down for both an endless amount of oxygen intake as well as turning on Kai's iPod to a Lofi and Jazzhop playlist where they had put a compilation of a playlist altogether just so they both have something they can listen to a music where it can be both a background filler and also a music background where they can it speak without any lyrics being mentioned unless if the actual musician whom they had created and produced the Lofi music had inserted into it as perhaps add a touch of both a personal and an aesthetic touch yet to also make it relatable universally for the countless listeners whom they are truthfully listening to the Lofi music and Jazzhop in general no matter where they are listening to it from any different devices in addition to also who are they listening to it and where do they came from.
As one of the Lofi music she recognizes it from the "Summer end" mix tape by the Fantastic Music team had started to play in the background which it all started with Gyvus's Venice where she had recognized it from many of their countless drives around the island of Oahu, Hawaii where the both of them would drove around the island of Oahu, Hawaii endlessly to so many different places to the point where they had decided to add it both her iPod and their own iPod respectively in addition to the other Fantastic Music Lofi and Jazzhop mixtapes where they had added so many different different type of music to their respective iPods to make sure they can have a diverse collection of the different type of various music where they can both listen to it without becoming bored of the same song where they had played it repetitively which it is normally seldom in both the Lofi and Jazzhop genre where they would usually play it mostly if the both of them wanted a background filler song without any actual lyrics being mentioned in the music.
While she slump in the drivers seat; meanwhile Kai whom they had returned back to the passenger seat had explained to her about what had happened between her and the kane during the conversation between the both of them.
"Sorry about the delay; wahine: is everything okay?" They asked her while she immediately turns off her iPhone and slip it into the low holder of the driver's side of the car door where they would usually kept either a physical copy of the maps; magazines and even newspapers as well as physical copies of books with paperback covers as she noticed that they did kept an old physical copy of a surf magazine where it is both a local Hawaii based Surf Magazine and yet it too had mentioned an article of a famous local and legendary Hawaii surfer the late and great Andy Irons whom she had only known them from how Kai would yap their ears off about the number of local surfers from Hawaii no matter whom they truthfully are and she too also vividly remembered about how she got a chance to drive the car while they both listened to the full-on solo version of Maroon 5's "Girls" from Kai's iPod just as when they both head off to the bathroom for an essential bathroom break and also to get the both of them a cup of coffee and snacks from the petrol station store as she vividly reflected on the long drive to the Makai Pier at the Eastern part of Oahu where Kai got her favorite cup of hot latte and a plain croissant for her and they got a hot cup of cappuccino and a slice of red velvet cake where they both shared together as they both had found out later on the red velvet is actually a free complimentary slice of cake for getting two cups of hot coffee.

"Inhale, exhale: Rachel: inhale . . . exhale . . . Rachel . . . repeat. inhale; exhale . . . Rachel . . . inhale . . . exhale . . . Rachel . . ." She thought quietly while they both parked at an EV parking and charging spot where the both of them are now sharing their non problematic Kia electric car which it is very similar to the fuel-based Kia Rio model however this time it is a different version where it is an EV car version of the Kia Rio plus yet; it is also beginner friendly too as well.
As she sat down at the driver's seat of the car; Kai had went off to the washroom where they did head off to the washroom where they do needed an urgent bathroom break and by the time when they did returned back to the car: they didn't return back to the car empty handed but instead they had returned with a brown paper bag where it has the same light brown bag and also, a light brown box where it matches both of the paper bags in addition to also a pair of plastic forks and a physical copy of a receipt of what they had picked up from the petrol station store earlier today in addition to also a paper cup holder where it now held a pair of go to white paper coffee cups with a cardboard navy blue cup sleeve holder plus one of them has a hand written scribble where it is scrawled "Latte" and meanwhile; the other had said "Cappuccino" plus by the time when they did returned back from their washroom break and getting brunch for their llong time best friend plus room mate: this is where they did noticed how their long time friend and room mate are now noticeably silent while entering into the passenger side of the car just before she did noticed their presence out of nowhere instantly where suddenly, Rachel got startled and let out a small yelp out of nowhere instantly; "Ahhh!" She yelped and they also yelped the same response too as well towards each other.
"Ahhh!"
"Ahhh!"
"AHHHHH!" They both screamed together and giving an unexpected jump-scare to a pair of kanes whom they both are walking past by their car on their way to the washroom where they went there earlier and while one of them shake their head in genuine disbelief; meanwhile the other glared at them instantly for how they just screamed over nothing before they continued on walking past by them to the direction of the washroom just as they chattered about the brand new version of the Bejeweled game where it is a completely free version where everyone can play it without experiencing the pressure on beating the game timer thus the game company did made a decision to made another one where they had decided to remove the game timer for them just so they can play the game at their own pleasure and their own pace.
"Oh my goodness; Kai, you did truthfully scared me out of nowhere!" Rachel protested while Kai replied: "Yeah, yeah: I know: I am so sorry if I didn't meant to truthfully scare you out of nowhere to be honest; wahine."
"Yeah, I'm sorry too; K: I am just feeling lost in my very own thoughts ever since I had been thinking about something personal from my very own life: K."
"Oh, okay."
"Anyway; did you truthfully went to the washroom?"
"I did and I . . . also got us . . . ta-da! Brunch!!!" They replied with the the words of "Ta-da! Brunch!!!!" was more of an actual sing-song voice than an actual talking voice.
"Oh my goodness; really?" She asked them while they did placed the white paper go to coffee cup into one of the car cup holders which she might assumed it might be her hot cup of hot latte on one hand and meanwhile they did asked her: "Croissant or red velvet cake?" Before adding the comment as an aftermath: "I got a slice of fresh red velvet cake as a free complimentary gift for getting two cups of coffee: Rachel."
"Oh, awesome: I'll take the croissant anyway thus honestly; I do truthfully think you should be taking the red velvet." She replied to them where they simply replied: "Very well then, how about we share the red velvet cake?"
"Cool, why not?"
Then this is where the both of them took their brunch quietly and she said to Kai quietly: "Honestly: I do have to admit; I'd think this is one of those slice of red velvet cake I can truthfully make an exception for it though:Kai."
"No way, really?"
"Yes way, wahine."
"Very well then; Rachel." They replied before using their plastic fork to take a small piece of red velvet cake and shoving it into their mouth; nodding while chewing it with a closed mouth.

"Okay, so you ready to head off to the Makai pier?" Kai asked after they head out to discard the empty cake box and the empty brown paper brown bag where the croissant is all gone from the earlier brunch they both did have it earlier.
"To where?" Rachel ask her before they instantly replied "Yes, to the Makai Pier!"
"Oh; I may have to set the Waze up to head off to the Makai Pier."
"Cool, just make sure your smart phone is truthfully charged; wahine."
"Sure, no problem."
"Also, did you managed to truthfully charge the iPod as well? It is just to make sure we do really needed the music to continue on for the journey; wahine."
"Hold on, let me check by the way . . ." Kai replied while picking up the iPod where it lights up out of nowhere and it shows that it has around 28% battery life left in the iPod where it is now playing a lofi music from the "Australian Summer" Lofi mixtape by Fantastic Music in the background at the same time just as when she checks the amount of battery life it has.
"I'd think it still has the amount of power to kept going for the long road trip however . . . if you do really want to charge it then this is where I have brought the iPod charging cable thus I didn't realized how on earth that the iPod does really needed to be charged as someone whom they had told me thay had the same iPod model in black had told me that it does really needed to be truthfully be charged when it is on a low battery power percentage; wahine."
"Ah, okay: I'd still yet to find my pink iPod one day if I did have the actual confidence to return back home to the mainland back in Portland; Oregon: Kai/ K." She moaned dejectedly when they brought up the whole iPod topic into the conversation earlier between the both of them.
"Oh, Rachel; I'm sorry; we'll go back there one day and who knows; maybe I can help you to pack your essential items from home and anything you want to bring it along with you to the island of Oahu, Hawaii thus you didn't have to truthfully be worried about leaving something behind back at your hometown of Portland, Oregon; Rachel."
"Yeah, I am so sorry if this conversation does took an unexpected turn between the both of us; Kai."
"Oh no, please don't truthfully apologize: Rachel, I mean you never know how sometimes when you spoke about something unexpectedly into a conversation then this is where you did truthfully open yourself up in a certain way about yourself, wahine."
"I mean no pressure to you or anything like that; wahine: sorry." Kai added it as an afterthought plus she replied: "Don't apologize, kai; it's amazing when you did brought it up into the conversation especially when it comes to the more up and close yet a personal topic between you and them and vice versa; Kai."
"No way, really?"
"Absolutely; because sometimes . . . honesty is always the best key sometimes especially sometimes whenever you are meeting a new person or someone you had known them for the very first time in their very own lives and . . ."
"Let me guess; we may not know they would ask us how we are truthfully doing; Rachel."
"Yep, that is what exactly I am actually referring to it; wahine. Anyway, moving from there; are we ready go; Kai?"
After drinking their cup of cappuccino where it is now a room temperature cup of cappuccino; they replied; "Sure, why not? But is the car is fully charged? Thus you do realized we are . . ."
"Currently driving an EV car; you know that?"
"Yeah thus before we can truthfully head off then; you might want to check the battery percentage on the dashboard of our electric car; wahine."
"Oh, okay." She replied then she checked and luckily it had been fully charged on the car battery of their electric car just before they can prepare themselves to head off to the Makai Pier.
"It does has full on battery mode thankfully; K."
"Cool, so let's head off there; shall we?"
"You got it; K."
And after that; off they go to the Makai pier.

Back in the present day . . .
"Did you spoke with the guy about why he didn't meant to double park in front of our car?" Rachel asked Kai while they instantly replied "Yes, they did noticed it and they did told me about how they took a risk of double parking in front of our car since they told me they are visiting a friend of theirs whom they lived in the same apartment as us except it is only a few floors below our apartment floor where we both are now currently living at there permanently in the long term run both figuratively and literally; R."
"Wow, I just truthfully didn't understood why on earth they would take a risk of double park in front of our car; K."
"I know, Rachel; but we must go . . . but . . . after they had make way for our car; R."
"Ugh . . . okay: I am so going to be late for my job; K."
"Then let's be honest with them about what had really happened and come clean to them about why are we currently late for our respective jobs; wahine."
"I know, I did felt as when we got actually screwed up by the stupid double parking driver for sure, wahine."
"I know, I know; but what's important is that we both make it to our respective jobs and tell them the truth on why we both are late and that's it, R: so let's go." Kai replied as calmly as possible just before they both exited both their EV parking spot and the parking basement where they both head off to their respective jobs both in the area of Waikiki and Honolulu.

As the both of them went to their individual jobs; they drop off Rachel at the Waikiki Beachwalk Shopping Center where it is located at the heart of Waikiki just before they head off to their job at Kailua Crystals at Ala Moana Shopping Center and by the time when the both of them arrived to their respective jobs; both of their bosses had asked them the same question to the both of them:
Boss: Ma'am, we do truthfully hope there is a possible explanation about why you are late for your job.
Rachel and Kai: [To their respective bosses at their individual day jobs] Yes, sir/ ma'am.
Boss: Then why are you late?
Rachel: Ma'am, I can truthfully explain.
Kai: Sir, I know there is going to be an explanation for why I am late.
Boss: Please do explain; Rachel/ Kai.
Rachel: Um . . . firstly; we--Kai and I--we both are late because of how we did lose track of the time from this morning and . . .
Kai: Okay, so we are late because we did lost track of the time from this morning and . . .
Rachel: And secondly, we both needed to prepare for the day so . . . we did hurriedly tried to rush out except . . . suddenly . . .
Kai: Secondly; we have to prepare ourselves in a hurry but thirdly; there is an unexpected road block we are facing earlier today as I am referring to my long time friend Rachel and I to be honest though . . .
Rachel: We got unexpectedly blocked by a car where they had double parked it in front of our car and this is where we both had been late from this morning and adding the insult into the wound, we did have to face the morning road traffic jam unexpectedly out of nowhere; ma'am.
Kai: Plus by the time when we arrived to our individual job, sir; we both are also late as well due to how we both did have to face a morning road traffic jam so . . . I would truthfully apologize for being late and also, I'm undeniably sorry for being late for my current day job; sir.
Rachel: And ma'am; I am so sorry for being late for my current job; ma'am--i am really sorry for being late though.
Boss: Very well then; Kai/ Rachel; please be on time for your job and don't be late again for your job(s) if you [Both Rachel and Kai] wanted to keep the job in the long term run permanently.
Rachel and Kai: Yes, sir/ ma'am.
Boss: Good, now the both of you may return back to your job(s). [*Turns on their respective backs to focus on their job as both the boss and the manager*]
Rachel and Kai: *Both of the wahines give out a true sigh of relief after their respective bosses turned on their backs to focus on their respective jobs as both the managers and the bosses for their respective jobs*

As both of the wahines work at their respective day jobs as Rachel had to open the boxes of the new clothing line where her boss Kaila had ordered it for the Mahina Boutique where Rachel is working at there and meanwhile: Kai whom she worked at the Kailua Crystal store at the Ala Moana Shopping Center outlet where they now arrange the brand new stocks of the candle warmer lamp as they both are now listening to different lofi music background as they played over the speakers of their respective stores where they both are currently working at there.
Neither of them had the time to contact each other about the update of either the information about the cafe at the same area where it is located at the Outrigger Resort where one of their favorite cafe: Cafe Glace was still opened there luckily on one hand however the cafe where they are actually referring to Leo Beans wasn't there just as what Rachel had expected as her own biggest fear out of nowhere.
Meanwhile; the bookstore Pages And Kala had place a notice on the shutter where they confirmed they are re-locating to the Ala Moana Shopping Center where they are now relocating at there due to a number of reasons and she needed to send them a text message during her solo lunch break at the Subway restaurant where she had her solo lunch break as she send a text message to them while they too are on their respective lunch break at the famous Makua Food Court at Ala Moana Shopping center; eating their bowl of poke with a fresh and a room temperature mineral bottled water from Dasani/ Ice Mountain.
Rachel: Kai, I did checked out the Outrigger Resort Building which it is just across the Waikiki Beachwalk Shopping Center and I did have both the good news and the bad news to you, wahine.
Kai: Wow, did you said the good news and the bad news?
Rachel: Yes, do you want the good news or the bad news first?
Kai: I do wanted to hear the good news first but you may have to give me the bad news first before you can give the good news; Rach.
Rachel: Very well then but hold your breath; don't get too excited though and don't truthfully get your own hopes up either in general [Both literally and figuratively to be honest: K.] thus . . . the cafe we had went to before: Leo's Beans?
Kai: Oh yeah, I did remembered it; we went there for their coffee; is it?
Rachel: Mm-hm, it is now completely gone unfortunately due to a number of reasons.
Kai: What?!
Rachel: Yes, they are completely gone for good when I did asked a Cafe Glace Staff whom they are on duty during that time to be honest just as when I did walked up to them since they did recognized us so many various times from the time when we both would always go there for our lunch break and our tea break too as well as light dinner plus breakfast too as well on certain days when we wanted to head there; K.
Kai: Oh, I didn't realized that: Rach but why are they gone?
Rachel: Possibly something has to do with the building rental or something like that; K.
Kai: What??! Oh my Honolulu, sea stars and surfboards.
Rachel: Yeah, I don't think there are anything we can possibly do from there onwards; K.
Kai: Ugh. (*Vomiting face emoji icon*)
Rachel: Yeah, I am so sorry; wahine.
Kai: It's okay. (*Disappointed face emoji icon*)
Rachel: On a very different note: the bookstore Pages And Kala had confirmed they are going to move to Ala Moana Shopping Center since they did wanted to grow their business from there so you might want to check there before you can return back to your job; K.
Kai: Okay, I'll check there myself; thank you.

By the time when they both had finished up their jobs for the day: Kai yawned as they head off to Island Vintage Coffee to get an ice-blended coffee drink where they'll make sure they do have the remaining energy to drive back to Waikiki where Rachel is currently working at there in addition to also where their permanently freehold apartment is also located there too as well.
"You're not coming with us?" Asked one of their co-workers Diana whom she is usually well known for her pom-pom hairstyle she usually wears it in addition to also how they both looked like sisters however the only difference is that Diana's voice was really similar to Keke Palmer's actual voice while Kai's voice is more aligned with Brooklyn who is also known as Brooklyndoeswhatshewants on YT where it is a YT channel where both Kai and Rachel had downloaded the full-on MP4 format on their full-length version of all of the Bratz video game walkthrough they had downloaded it offline just to make sure they did have something to watch it offline as either a background noise filler or they'll watch it together but usually they both turned it on their iMac as a background filler altogether in addition to also the Brooklynreadwhatshewants podcast video in addition to also the Barbie 12 Dancing Princess as well as the Barbie as the Island Princess full-length video game walkthrough they made as a full-length version of the video game walkthrough and now, they both are patiently waiting for the full-length version of the Monster High 13 Wishes full-length video game walkthrough as they too also did the same with other videos where they too also downloaded it offline just to save the video offline to make sure they can have the video file at any technology devices where either they watched it offline such as all 6 official episodes of "The no 1 ladies detective agency" TV series as well as the Fantastic Music mixtape where they also downloaded the songs individually as the MP3 files where they can truthfully save it to their iPod therefore they can listen to it offline at anytime and anywhere no matter where they are at where in addition to also how they too can also listen to the music offline too as well from their iPod no matter what type of music are they listening to it.
"I would love to but I'm sorry: D, but I really have to back as Rachel and I--we both have an official date with each other but if you would love to come then feel free to invite yourself to join us then for our very own girls night in or the wahine night in; D."

I had heard that from a Cari video whom she does it from her book channel Cari Can Read where she did read book one of the book thus . . . which again, truer to her words: she had mentioned she was actually thinking it might be a stand alone book however it turns out that realistically; the author Karina had mentioned that there are so many fans whom they are wondering about what had happened to both Kellie and the survival gang just after the first book; D."
"Exactly, and this is the book I had been searching for; K."
"You do realized there is a Barnes and Noble bookstore at there; don't you think?"
"I know, but there are so many people are going there so . . . I would say; I much preferred going to an independent book store; recommend it other people and spread the word to definitely let the others know about the Pages and Kala bookstore in addition to letting them know that everyone does needed to support their local and independent businesses no matter what type of independent business we are actually referring to it; Kai."
"Oh really? That's amazing, D--maybe I'd think I might let Rachel know the word of--"
Diana cleared her throat in response and added: "Kai, who is Rachel?"
"Huh?" Kai asked her in response.

Kai replied as they did a last minute check on making sure all of the items are all in their original place and nothing is misplaced as their boss has became frustrated with one of the trainees for how they had mixed up between the boxes essential oil diffuser and the boxes of candle warmer where Kai had managed to re-arrange it earlier today while Diana is chatting with a customer whom they are searching for an ideal gift where they had a friend whom they are in the islands Hawaii for both a holiday and a friend's birthday celebration.
"Oh, okay . . . I do wished I have a friend like her to you and you to her; Kai." Moaned Diana wistfully as both of the ladies exited the store where the mall is now becoming less and less busy as slowly but surely; stores are now closing up and some stayed up late until closing hours.
"I know, but . . . I didn't wanted to be disrespectful and all but no true offense to you and all however didn't you have a friend before where the friendship is similar to mine and hers?" They asked while activating the button on the lower right side of the store where it automatically pulls down the shutter and push the shutter door up open after pressing the button to let it pull the shutter down.
"I used to but she had actually became a jerk by the time when she joined the 'Popular kids' crowd and to add the insult into the wound; she had changed her attitude and she even think she is a real life Regina George where she can get away with her own actions no matter what exactly she was doing."

Kai replied as they place a silver padlock where they locked up the shop and Diana added sarcastically: "It's like she even think she could get away with writing everyone's name and placing their yearbook picture in their burn book where she too had also added the other two mean girls whom she is friends with them once she got into the popular crowd; ew."

As both of the wahines head off to Island Vintage Coffee to get a cup of coffee; meanwhile for their long time best friend; Rachel whom she too is leaving her work shift had went out to Cafe Glace where they warmly welcomed her as she order her usual on their signature waffle as she quietly watched the scenery as tourists and local citizens exchanged a conversation on many different topics as well as how ohanas are busily enjoying a light dinner while the grown-ups are chatting about something; meanwhile, keikis on the other hand are busily doing their own thing with their coloring, activity books and their toys where they had brought with them to keep themselves occupied as the soft and low volume of the lofi music where they are now playing it in the background as to brought both the endless comforting and the cozy vibes to the cafe where it is now playing a Fantastic Music mixtape where it is called Sydney as they had named after the Australian City where it is located in Australia.
While she continued to quietly watched the scenery out of curiosity; there are some parts where it does truthfully hits her so close to home where she did watched a young keiki whom she assumed that might be the mum's daughter as she is perhaps maybe around 5 years old biologically age wise however it does really made her feeling emotionally heart broken as she did always imagined a scenario of what if she and her own birth parents especially her own birth mum whom although she does truthfully loved Rachel in general however she still carried a hidden sense of jealousy and a deep level of bitterness and hatred where she did felt as when her own daughter does have something in her very own life that her mum doesn't when she was around Rachel's current biological age in addition to also how she would always compared her with the other kids including her birth siblings whom she [Rachel] hadn't spoke with them for years and suddenly she did felt an instant pang of guilt washing all over her internally as she did have the thoughts of what are her siblings are doing.
While perhaps all of them had went to either a university or college to get graduated with a degree; some had decided to head off to the military in addition to how some of her older siblings had gotten married and perhaps one of her elder siblings had now owned a family where she longed to speak with them but afraid she might break both of the invisible bubble where if both parties had either overstepped their boundaries or worse; they would had gotten into an unexpected argument between the both of them where they'll argue with each other over nothing; then this is where both of the invisible and the safety bubble would had been burst open out of nowhere and if they both have burst opened then this is where the unexpected heated argument starts between the both of them unexpectedly out of nowhere just before one of them would storm off to elsewhere after the argument to both cool off themselves from the anger they had towards each other and also to regain their composure just after the argument in addition to also giving them the well-deserved space and privacy as well.
As Rachel watched them as her pair of eyes started to water with tears prickled from the corners of her eyes; she did felt as when she did wanted to truthfully cry out of nowhere instantly only because of how she did felt as when they had something she had always longed for just before she went to the island of Oahu, Hawaii; went to HPU for all four years in a row and graduated from there as well as working at the Mahina Boutique as her first full-time job and at the Soha Living store as her back-up part time job where she has started working there as a freshman and this is also where she too had met Kai for the very first time in her very own life where she gets to truthfully experienced both the undeniable and the equally endless love and support from Kai themselves whom although they originally had been a 'she/ her' pronouns for a really long while before coming out as an actual lesbian romantic wise and an asexual sexual wise status type of wahine whom she now goes by the pronouns of 'they/ them' for good permanently.
While Rachel search through her bag for any clean tissues she had left it there; the mum whom she and her 5 year old daughter had been chatting about the day's event had actually noticed how she had been crying unexpectedly out of nowhere and adding a surprise into the mix; the daughter has even asked her mum about why did she cried in the first place.
Dabbing away at the free-flowing tears on her face; the mum whom she had chatted with her daughter earlier had also noticed about Rachel's unexpected crying spell and decided to walk over to sit at the vacant seat at an empty spare chair without asking her permission from her and asked Rachel softly while her voice fulfilled with a genuine level of compassion to her: "Is everything okay, young lady? I am so sorry that you are crying over the loss of someone; ma'am."
"Oh no, sorry; it's not about someone I did lost but it does feels like it except they are alive actually and I am so sorry if I didn't meant to unexpectedly cry out of nowhere; ma'am."
"Oh no, please don't sincerely apologize for your crying and let me introduce myself before I forget the introduction; my name is Kathleen, young lady. What's your name?" She replied in the same genuine soft and compassionate voice to Rachel as to continue on the conversation between the both of them.
"Oh, I'm Rachel and yeah: I am so sorry if I didn't meant to cry in front of you and the public, ma'am thus honestly; earlier: I had mentioned earlier how I did felt as I lost someone but they are very much alive."
"As in an estranged ex-boyfriend; Rachel?" Kathleen asked worriedly as she did sense a waves of protectiveness washing all over her internally; knowing if Rachel or anyone or anybody did have an estranged ex-lover whom if they do have any type of plans to definitely do any harm to them then this is where she had the protective side of her unraveled out of nowhere to make sure that no one and nobody does generally gets hurt in any different type of abuse no matter what type of abusive actions it is they would cause any harm towards both them and everybody else surrounding them.
"No, not an estranged ex-boyfriend but my very own estranged birth family; Kathleen." Rachel replied as a 'matter-of-factly' as she knew it was her own estranged birth family whom they may have given her the love and support towards her and vice versa however it is a very different type of love where she did experienced it in her very own life in the comparison based on what she had experienced it before from her own estranged birth family just before she had experienced an unlimited amount of the undeniable love and support she had experienced it endlessly from Kai themselves.
"Oh dear, oh dear: Rachel: I am so sorry about that; Rachel--it makes me so sad to hear that you have to experience a level of love where you can only get it if you truthfully get to meet their expectations and also their reservations as well or otherwise they'll belittle you, shun you; criticize you and who knows; dejectedly; they too might have disowned you as well excluding you from the family altogether just as I did now know the reason why you did said the word 'estranged', Rachel.
"You poor thing." Kathleen said after listening to Rachel's story about her own relationship between both her and her very own estranged birth family where the both of them had been at odds with each other for a very long time until now; Rachel had decided to move away from her hometown of Portland, Oregon where she was originally from there to the island of Oahu, Hawaii where apart from having a student and now an alumna at the HPU university in addition to becoming a long time partner of Kai's; she too had also felt as when she was living in exile at the island of Oahu, Hawaii just as when she was living far away from her own birth family for good.
"Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't meant to cry in front of you earlier however I do have to truly admit; ma'am: I did felt a waves of guilt washing all over me as well as the waves of jealousy washing all over me too internally just as when I am grieving over my fragmented and estranged relationship between both me and my very own estranged birth family altogether; ma'am."
"Oh please, don't apologize; Rachel: grief isn't just only about the loss of our loved ones from a tragic death or when you and an ex-lover had broken up between each other in a relationship between you and them but sadly; it too applies with how there are so many keikis whom they did too also experienced a very similar experience in their very own respective lives to yours and unfortunately; there are so many of them had fallen into the rabbit hole of addiction where they would do drugs, alcohol; smoking and who knows; all of the above just as what I had mentioned earlier but dejectedly; there are some who would take steps way too far to commit a crime to gain the attention they did wanted to let others know about how they wanted to feel the unconditional love and support as well as to also experience it in addition to also to be seen, to be heard and also to be validated too as well altogether but they hadn't got that from their own ohanas especially when their relationship with their own ohanas; are again, really estranged and fragmented to the point where one day; when they had became grown adults biologically age wise; they'll probably do something where unfortunately their own actions does have the consequences where if they kept on doing it in their very own lives again as a repeat of a life habit where they are forced to do it from the very beginning in their very own lives in addition to also continuing to enable it and letting it became an unexpected life habit where they kept on repeating it then consequently; this is where unfortunately they can either go to prison where they'll either spend there for the years where the lawyers; juries; authorities and the judge had handed their life sentence based on how long they'll spend there no matter how long it might be in addition to also how they too would also face a much tougher steps in life when they had left the prison yet they had to be under a criminal probation to make sure they don't commit any more crimes and if they do; they'll head back to prison again unfortunately plus sadly some would too have to face a permanent life sentence in prison where they'll have to spend their own lives there both permanently and unconditionally until their last breath of their own lives and speaking of death; sadly: there are also people whom they too committed a very similar life pattern too as well can met an unexpected yet an early death too as well unfortunately just as when they had committed an unexpected yet an early life suicide where they may have the thought they are going to feel better, get better and who knows; they'll get the full-on level of attention as well the unconditional love and support as well as the genuine validation from other people just as what they had expected but dejectedly; they had passed away unexpectedly from the addiction of either drugs, alcohol and even smoking or perhaps all of the items I had mentioned earlier . . . all in just one combination; Rachel." Kathleen said wistfully as she thought about how so many of her own friends had to experienced the tragic experience of losing their loved ones from the addiction of drugs; alcohol; smoking and even committing an unexpected crime too as well; perhaps maybe they might have the hope where it'll draw the full-on attention and validation from both their loved ones and other people around them based on what they had done to make sure they can win their own trust as well as earning their unconditionally respect, love and support from everyone both around their social circle and outside their social circle however with their actions could led to unexpected consequences for their own actions; this is where they had lost their respective lives either due to how they had died from the addiction from drugs, alcohol; smoking ot all of the above in addition to how they had gotten arrested to prison yet they had handed a harsh yet a punishing life sentence of either a couple of years where they have to be in prison for the consequences of their own actions in addition to be on probation by the authorities to make sure they don't commit anymore crimes or otherwise; they'll be spending the rest of their own lives in prison for a lifetime until their final days of their very own lives for good.

"I know, I had friends whom they had lost the people from their social circle whom . . . when they didn't grew up in a home where they could experienced unconditional love and support from their own family as well as the validation from them too as well then this is where they had been starved for the unconditional love and support as well from other people as well as seeking the attention from other people just so they can feel validated and sadly, there are the ones whom they consequently lost their lives to the addiction to both drugs and alcohol for good; leaving their loved ones and their own keikis behind without either one of their parents or even both unfortunately in certain cases; Rachel plus when I did first have my own keiki; I had made a vow and an actual promise to make sure I can be the type of parent and the type of the adult whom they can truthfully look up to them and who knows, may be one day; they'll thank me and said those words to me in both a meaningful and a sincere type of way: Rachel: "I love you" when they are growing up and now, look where they are now including one of my daughters; Sami." She replied to Rachel while pointing out to Sami who is the five year old daughter whom Kathleen has with her long time love partner Cole whom she had mentioned to her later on where he is now on a business trip overseas to Toronto, Canada for his work and her older kids are now at school with their after school activities they wanted to join in order to expand their horizon.
"Oh wow, that's so amazing; Sami is youngest?"
"Yes, she is the first youngest of my keikis and then you got Cole Jr. whom he is now with my grandmother as sadly, he is now feeling under the weather physically."

"Oh okay, I understand and I'm sorry you have to juggle so much task as a mother yourself; Kathleen."
"It's okay, Rachel; sometimes the life of becoming a parent does have it's own challenges and rewards; Rachel thus I know becoming a parent can be really tough for everyone but it too can also be a blessing too as well for some people; Rachel."
