Author’s note: I have finally written the second chapter which I still need to come up with a proper title for this untitled one shot which I am going to do it plus I am going to include a friend whom the narrator is really close friends with during her college days as she wasn’t just only a roommate—she is also one of her best friend as well plus I am going to mention her as well in the story plus for the other writings—I’ll be taking my time to finish the work additionally for ‘One last walk’ Chapter 4: I am going to work on it very soon [Except it is going be a rather abandoned and unfinished writing work just before I begin to start writing ‘Chapter 4’ on ‘One last walk’]—as well as some of the older writing I am doing on right now.
The next one is going to be at Aloha Tower and Honolulu--I'll write it very soon.

After we unpacked the luggage additionally the carry on bag; we decided to meet up with our friends at Wailana Coffee House.
While we walk down through the streets of Waikiki; I asked Mathieu to bring a map with him thus we can take one of the bus which will take us to Honolulu—ever since it is located in Ala Moana Boulevard.
“Did you brought your map; Mathieu?” I asked him; feeling both worried and confused about bringing a map which shows the bus routes along with the Waikiki Trolley routes as well.
“No I hadn’t; do you want me to go back to the hotel and get the map?”
“Please do: Mathieu—you realise you need to know you are in Hawaii not France.”
“Oh okay, I apologise for not understanding the environment I am in is a very different environment.”
I chuckled plus to lighten the conversation up as well as the mood—I said optimistically “It’s okay; Mathieu—you are neither the first person nor you are the one and only person who did feel like a fish out of the water in an environment such as Hawaii plus you are not alone to go through this kind of similar experience! Everybody did have been through the same experience as well thus even they do have to face the language barrier additionally it isn’t always going to be easy to travel to somewhere new yet you have to learn to speak their language however if the place is somewhere where you are familiar with additionally you know how to speak their language then it does feel like a second home to you as a ‘home away from home’!”

“Cool; thank you for lending me a helping hand with the whole environment and language as well as the sightseeing the famous buildings in Hawaii—this is the reason why I contact you on the video call hence too the reason why would you choose somewhere like Hawaii.”

As we walk to a bus stop where it will bring us to Honolulu—we continue chatting about France; how his life is doing with his day to day life as well as how he learns to take care of himself.

“It’s okay; I understand—I mean . . . your uncle is still new to Hawaii—right?”
“Yes; he is new Chaz.”
“Sorry: I didn’t realise you did mention it earlier.”
“It’s okay: Chaz—I mean . . . I . . . Never mind on what I am saying; Chaz.”
“Oh, it’s okay—since we are all here now together; shall we go there?”
“Definitely; we all should.”

Just when we are at Wailana Coffee House; before we order—we start chattering on Hawaii and so much more to my Uncle Mat based how the locals referred to the road by names instead of numbers additionally it is important to pronounce the name correctly; plus even your first attempt to pronounce it properly is appreciated.
“Wow, are you sure I have to pronounce it properly?”
“Correct; Mathieu—you have to pronounce the name of the road; for example when you pronounce Likelike highway—you need to pronounce it as in ‘Lee-kay Lee-kay’ not ‘Like like’ on the pronunciation; Mathieu.”
“Okay; I’ll have to catch the message on this one however does it have to be a road?”
“No silly, you have to learn how to pronounce it properly.”
“Oh, okay—I have to pronounce it properly.”
“It’s okay: Mathieu—however how do people call you?”
“They normally called me as you would normally pronounce the name ‘Mathew’ except it is mostly written very differently as in ‘Mathieu’ instead of a regular ‘Matthew’.”
“Oh okay, how do you write it down?”
“Hang on; I need a piece of paper or something like that.”
“It’s okay; we can use the bus map we used it earlier to write down your name in reference for your information.”
“Cool, do you have a pen for me to write it down?”
I pass a pen to Uncle Mat without any hesitation plus he write down his name properly; ‘Mathieu’.
“Additionally when you are pronouncing my last name: make sure you pronounce it properly as in ‘Ree-shard’ not a regular ‘Richard’ for your information ever since my name is in French for your personal information on saying my name correctly.”
“Oh okay; we hear you sir.”
“Plus now it is my turn to ask you all about volleyball; how do you guys get started in volleyball? I am very interested in hearing your story about it.”
The guys explain about how they got into volleyball while they also played other sports as well as how Shea does have a volleyball workshop for local communities to be involved with volleyball plus they can learn how volleyball is more than just a sport—it can be a fun activity as well.

“Sure, why not? Plus I truly apologise for not saying anything however I didn’t want to spoil the conversation just as when someone brings up a spoiler or something like that.”
As we chatted on conversation about Hawaii additionally, the food managed to arrive however we are busy chatting about Hawaii on their rules and regulations additionally we thankfully exchange ‘Mahalo’ to the staffs who managed to serve our food and drinks.
Plus as we enjoyed our breakfast: I thought how Mathieu is going to aren’t a car ever since it is not going to be very easy to even just start thinking about renting a car plus I remember he wanted to rent a black convertible car from Mercedes however with the Blue Ford Mustang five seaters on a blue convertible? “It’s okay; may be we chat about the activities we are planning to do today?”

While they planned on walking around the streets of Honolulu and Waikiki plus bringing Mathieu to the iconic buildings such as Aloha Tower; Chinatown; Downtown as well as going in land on Waikiki; my plan is to make every memories count just like the days I have at UH with the girls: I need to make those memories count as well.
Plus they are also planning on surf lessons as well as one on one volleyball lessons for Mathieu; in addition to going to the other areas outside of Honolulu and Waikiki such as the East Side of Oahu where the Waimanalo Bay Beach Park is one of the well known beaches on the East Side or what people called it ‘The Windward side’ as well as the famous North Shore up in the Northern Part of Oahu as well as Pearl Harbour on the West Side of Oahu additionally the lesser known part such as Central Part of Oahu.
Except they wouldn’t miss out on hiking part ever since Hawaii has a lot of hiking trails in Honolulu as well as Waikiki on the distinctive Diamond Head plus so many different hikes ever since they told him some hiking trails are great for beginners, some are for immediate hikers and some are made only for the expert hikers.
As Mat paid the bills; I thought about how Mathieu can cope well with the Hawaii environment? I just didn’t want him to be an alien or to be a fish out of the water on being used to the environment however he told me with our help; we can help a French Man out in the Island of Oahu.
After we paid the bills; we walk out for a walk through the streets of Honolulu plus I felt very excited about it yet it feels nice to have my uncle is doing well with my friends and my boyfriend Chaz.
Chaz asked me “Are you going to be okay?”
I replied to him “I am going to be okay: Chaz—whatever it is; I am ready for it.”
“Cool, I am happy to hear this from you.”
“Yeah; me too: Chaz; me too.”
We both walk together to follow our friends.
